Sheppard Training Group operates with Work Health & Safety Accredited Assessors and works in partnership with Registered Training Organisations to assist with your High Risk Work Training requirements and many other industry courses.
Why Sheppard Training Group?
All employers must adhere to the Government Occupational Health and Safety Act (OH&S), which aims to protect the health, safety and welfare of people at work. These Acts clearly state a duty of care to ensure workplace safety for all:
- Employers must provide the information, instruction, training and supervision necessary to ensure the health and safety of employees at work.
- Manufacturers and suppliers of plant must ensure equipment is safe when properly used, and must make adequate information available about the conditions for its safe use.
- Employees must co-operate with efforts to comply with OH&S requirements.
In reality, this means there needs to be proof that an operator has been trained in the field they will be working in — verbal instruction is not an effective method of training as it lacks evidence. Sheppard Training Group offers a comprehensive and fully compliant training experience.
Our facilities
Our training facilities are air-conditioned and fully purpose-equipped, and our students have direct access to all the plant required for the relevant course.
We also offer onsite training as well as group booking options at our training facilities. Training at your own premises and group bookings give you the advantage of choosing course dates that suit you and your employees.
